Lorna and Rod had a project in Lumby for us last summer. A sturdy 1978 BC box house in need of some updating to appeal to the next generation looking to make memories in a place to call home. A gut job of the main floor down to the sturdy roots was followed by new flooring, fixtures, a renovated kitchen and bathroom, new appliances, a full paint job, updated stairwell, a bit of landscaping and a new roof. The renovation turned out wonderful!

Mr and Mrs B wanted to update their townhouse, complete with his and hers bathrooms (yes those are different bathrooms if you look closely) new flooring, paint and mouldings, new handrail/ spindles, new kitchen and a living room feature including a recessed cavity for the TV to sit flush against and a fireplace feature.

Mr and Mrs P in Coldstream (let’s be honest it was Mrs P) wanted to turn her “awful laundry room mess” into something usable, organized and pink. Amazing how one customized area in a basement can add so much to a home.

Bruce wanted to redo his media room. More tech, better lighting and control of it, more sound, bigger tv on a better mount and a better TV/movie experience. It made sense to upgrade a few systems once everything was opened up (you might get his wifi from your place now.) Aside from oodles of drywall repair from running 12 new pot lights, 8 new ceiling speakers, monster wires and enough data cables for a medium sized office, the rock wall had to be brought back to its previous glory. Here’s the evidence that it was at one point a sad looking wall, but with enough contractor magic everything is now right in the world….. or theatre room anyway. The previously textured ceiling was repaired, flattened and painted, forever hiding the access points for running cable, lights, plumbing repairs and one mystery vent cover. We even re-framed a closet and found 2 extra square feet of carpeted living space; who knew?
